CHEZZA'S BEARY MERRY CHRISTMAS

I do hope you enjoy the variety of projects in this book, which also includes three detatiled colour worksheets. There is something that's sure to appeal to everyone, whether it's the three cute little bear Gift Tags, adorable Snowbud Starlets, or maybe the Christmas Roses & Plaid coaster box with cordinating Moiré taffeta plaid and pigskin stocking and Bottle tote

There are a number of quick and easy little projects to choose from plus others with plenty of detail. For some thing a little different, I have used epoxy resin to make noses and ears which I have added to some wooden baubles and turned tassel tops to create three novel "Snowbud Bells" and two Bauble Bear ornaments.

"The Rustic Country Santa" bentwood box would make a beautiful heirloom piece and is large enough to store all your favourite ornaments and decorations until its Christmastime again.

I am sure any of these projects would make a lovely gift or stocking stuffer for somebody special.

CHEZZA'S BEARS

This was my first book of bears which was published by Viking Folk Art Publications in 1999. I used my mohair fur layering technique to paint most of the bears in this book. You will find a variety of bears ranging from Linnie Lou and Isabella all dressed up in lace and velvet to Reuben in his overalls and cap. There is Great Mates featuring Old Ted, a Sailor Bear, Mohair bear and toy rabbit. Alouetta is surrounded by roses and ribbons and Anastasia in her green velvet dress with lace collar and beret decorated with roses. There are also projects other than bears decorated in roses ribbons, lace, checkers and bee's to co-ordinate with each bear project.

MORE OF CHEZZA'S BEARS.

My second book also published by "Viking Folk Art Publications" in 2000 also features more bears but is quite different from my first book. It has a touch of country, Christmas, and a tad of whimsical. There is even a project called Senior Moments featuring three more mature lady bears for the over 50's club. There are school theme teds, a bear named Jamie (named after my dear friend Jamie Mills Price) who even has her own little birdhouse and a set of mini totes painted in a patchwork theme. The Christmas inspired projects feature twin angel bears, Home for the holiday bears, Chrismoose the reindeer and his friend featured on a wooden drum Lulu Lacewings and Pansy the Tolepainting fairy are pink bears who are surrounded by pansies and lace ribbons. There is also a heartshaped clock adorned with pansies, a Grans brag book featuring Roses and a Lace ribbon and many other fun things to paint.

There is something to appeal to everyone in Cheryl's latest book. In the last book you attended the wedding of Ted E and Rose E Bear.

Now you can meet Ted E Junior as he celebrates a family day with his parents. Nature lovers will enjoy the hinged trifold of gardening bears, the "Home Tweet Home" wall plaque and three cute scruffy bears, Bruiser, Buster and Barney, painted on a watering can. There is a sepia and lace grouping featuring muted colours and dainty bears dressed in lace. The patriotic theme includes "The Libearty Bears" project, which is in honor of the dedicated people who have helped lighten the darkness of Sept 11. Another grouping features a koala named Sheila and her baby Bazza, along with a Japanese Bear named Mayumi. The "Blue and White" theme will appeal to those of you who are into blue and white collectibles.
